We are pleased to announce that a formal joint venture has been established between
Cooper Tire & Rubber Company and Corporación de Occidente, Queretaro,
Mexico (COOCSA).
The new company, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company de Mexico, will be responsible
for the marketing, sales and distribution throughout Mexico of the Cooper and Pneustone
brands, as well as all other associate brand tires controlled by the two partner
companies.
This marketing joint venture will capitalize on the global sourcing capabilities
of Cooper coupled with the in-market expertise of COOCSA. Additionally, both companies
are known for industry leading customer service and this will be at the core of
the advantage that Cooper Tire & Rubber Company de Mexico will offer its customers.
